Rebeca lab

Welcome to the group of Rebeca Garcia-Fandino, at Santiago de Compostela University. Our young group is located at the Center for Research in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials (CiQUS), where we develop a multidisciplinary research program at the interface of supramolecular chemistry, biology and materials. We apply computational techniques to explore the structure and function of lipid membranes as a target interacting with biomolecules, the intersection point among cancer, infection and aging. Our aim is the understanding of the action mechanisms of these processes for the design of effective therapies and drugs.
